Initio Usb Default Controller Driver For Mac
I use a 500Gb WD Elements external drive as backup for most of my work. It is about 1/3 full. Lately I had a half-second power break and then I received a message that a new hardware was found on my computer – (I didn’t add any hardware in the last year)’ and a program “initio default controller” was automatically installed. Then I found that the WD drive disappeared from the machine. I de- and re-connected the WD, it reappeared again and it works fine. However I would like to be sure that the backup drive is OK. Please explain what is the “initio” item, had it any connection with the WD drive event, or should I perhaps check or renew the backup drive.
