Free version of piolet shows ads and has no search functionality. I really doubt whether this can become good P2P file sharing program.

Morpheus: Current Status: Discontinued Morpheus is free p2p file sharing program with many features like search, easy user interface, No spyware, Popups or ads. The latest version of Morpheus also supports P2P Streaming media for video and audio. Supported Operating System: Window 7, Xp/Vista Download Morpheus Client. 20.): Current Status: Discontinued ANts P2P realizes a third generation P2P net. This is only one of kind of peer to peer file sharing application which encrypts everything. It protects your privacy while you are connected and makes you not trackable, hiding your identity (ip) and encrypting everything you are sending/receiving from others.

ANts is fully open source project developed in java with HTTP tunnling support and can work even on proxy or NAT or any type of web traffic filtering system. Acquisition is relatively new and paid type of p2p file sharing program. Acquisition uses Gnutella network for peer-to-peer file sharing and BitTorrent client. It is based on LimeWire.

This is one of dedicated P2P software which runs only on Mac OS X. Download Acquisition client. Dargens p2p is a mod of ANts p2p that makes it download faster while still being anonymous. Of course you still have the ability to search and download like limwire etc again anonymously.

The best software doesnt only mean download speed, always remember if u want great download speed u must have great upload speed too.as p2p works by uploading from other clients.

Try searching rare files e.g for rare mp3 files are ( Dow jones-just a techno groove, avion de nuitagatha de co, hobby one-everybody movin’up, passion-toujour envie d’elle,Docteur jones l’explorateur.) these are mp3 files that are rare to find. Personally ive use most of the mentioned p2p, for best result use Emule, for quick use Limewire.but limewire is not as in the early 2000’s,so beware.

Torrent i use bitcomet/utorrent/rarely vuze as it takes too much memory, what i apreciate with torrent is that i can select mp3’s/ files to download from huge files coz sometime one needs only a readme file from a 1 gig file!!that’s the best of torrent files. In general i use web like filespump/rapidlibrary/4shared. Files that i dnt find i use Emule/limewire till now ive download many many many Gig of Mp3 and sincerly ive got 99.9% of music ive searched from yr 70’s to latest techno. Sorry for ortho err, im from mauritius island and our native language in not english:D. BearShare sold out to iMesh in the Summer of 2006 or so as part of their settlement with the music industry. Any BearShare installer downloaded since is based on iMesh re-skinned to look like the old BearShare.

Morpheus is dead. It should rank at the bottom. StreamCast (publishers of Morpheus) went bankrupt after its legal troubles with the recording industry.

The old BearShare should definitely rank above Shareaza, but the new BearShare should rank down at the bottom, only ahead of Morpheus. You should mention that LimeWire supports both the Bittorrent and Gnutella protocols. I can understand the grammar mistakes, as you’re probably not a native speaker. However, the terrible spelling is harder to dismiss. A spelling check before publishing wouldn’t kill you, would it?
